Our Story Weddings is a wedding planning and photography services business that was in the need of a logo and brand identity to be designed. From the beginning, the client requested a design that spoke to an elegant yet modern visuals while incorporating a feminine and soft aesthetic.
The logo is text centric that pairs a handwritten script adjacent to a light sanserif typeface. The text sits in front of a simple circular design that pays homage to a wedding ring without being too “on the nose” and overdone. The curvilinear shapes and soft color palette represented in the logo is used sparingly throughout the entire stationary set and branding.
Because the shapes and colors represented in the logo are used sparingly across all printed platforms, the vast amount of white space assists in creating a light and spacious layout while strengthening the previously stated soft aesthetic.
